Elara Greenbriar was born on the edge of the ancient and mystical Eldergrove Forest. Her mother, a respected elven druid, and her father, a skilled human ranger, both imparted their deep reverence and love for nature to her. Aeloria Shadowdance

Aeloria Shadowdance was born under the shroud of night in the mystical Elven city of Elarindor. The daughter of an elven noble and a human rogue, her unique heritage often made her an outcast. Despite her noble lineage, Aeloria felt more at home in the shadowy alleys and hidden passages than in the grand halls of her mother's estate. Beacon

He seemed to materialize from the light of the sun itself, his metal form growing ever more corporeal as the sun rose over the hills. No one knew who he was or where he came from. Some thought he was a knight at first, before realizing his entire body was bronze and steel. His eyes glowed, almost like the color of the sky at dawn. He had a symbol on his chest—a golden sun. The Dawnfather had blessed this machine, no doubt. But why? Why send this automaton to be his hand? The Radiant Order serves him infallibly. Why the machine?

Dani Nontafyr

Daniella Nontafyr (pronounce 'Non-ta-fear') is a goliath woman whom was raised in a primarily human village called Readingstall, where she spent most of her childhood being bullied for being so different. Dani is very awkward and a bit of a yapper, which also didn't help matters. As Dani got older, she felt very lost in life and wasn't sure what she was 'supposed' to be doing. She tried working for a local merchant for a while, but was fired after an 'incident'. Dani figured magic was a stable path that would get her out of her small town, so she decided to move to another town to attend the Witherbloom College of Strixhaven University. There, she ended up becoming roommates with Philippa Lestelle, another goliath who was already a wizard herself. Dani was 18 to Philippa's 22 at this point. A couple of years later, Dani ended up dropping out of Uni after having an existential identity crisis about who she was and who she wanted to be. Dani is now an Eldritch Knight Fighter, using the magic she did learn at uni along with things that Philippa taught her. Although that town had a much more diverse population than Dani's home village, Dani and Philippa ended up moving to the city to work. Dani ended up quickly learning cure wounds, because Philippa is quite clumsy and lives up to the squishy wizard stereotype, even as a goliath. Now, over a decade later, Dani and Philippa still live together in the house they built, and often work together on various jobs and quests. However, Dani is taking a leap and setting out on her own for once, just to see where it takes her.

Efra Boxtail

Efra Boztal was born deep in the Twilight Thhicket, an isolated elven hollow where rot was respoected and fungus was cultivated like kin. Her people belived decay wasn't failure, it was work being done. Fallen trees were fed, not cleared. Bodies were wrapped in bark and spores annd returned gently to the soil. Efra grew up barefoot, mud-streaked, and curious, following her parents through the underbrush. Her mother healed with poultices and pouched mushrooms; her father prepared the dead with reverence, ensuring their return nourished the forest properly. From them, Efra learned that death wasn't something to fear, it was something to do right. Unlike man elves, Efra never had much patience for lofty ritual or poetic speeches. She understood the cycle in a practical way: "Stuff dies, Stuff grows. You mess that up, things get ugly" When she underwent the Rite of Spores, Efra didn't treat it as a holy vision quest so much as a long, uncomfortable sit in a damp cave that ended with her coming out...different. The spores bonded with her easily. The underground mycelial network spoke to her not in riddles, but in gut feelings: pressure, wrongness, hunger, pain. Years later, that feeling turned sharp. Not far from the Twilight Thicket lay a satellite grove, an old fungal nursery used for overflow burials and rot-cultivation. One season, the soil there went sour. Mushrooms grew twisted and blackened. The insects fled. The dead placed there did not rest; their bodies refused to break down, swelling and leaking as if the land itself rejected them.

Efra went to investigate and found the grove corrupted, not by natural blight but by something that consumed death without returning life. The spores screamed. The mycelial web was severed, chewed through like rot without rebirth. Whatever caused it had been moving outward, toward villages. Efra helped burn the grove, an act that nearly broke her. Fire was never supposed to be the answer. But some rot wasn't rot at all.....it was theft. When news reached her people of entire settlements dying at once, bodies piling up with no decay, Efra knew it was the same wrongness. She packed her gear, spat into the dirt, and left home; not because she liked armies, but because whatever was causting this needed putting down hard. She joined the army as a necessary nuisance, a woman who smelled faintly of mushrooms, talked to the dirt, and knew when death wasn't doing it's job.

Campaign Notes

Session One

Scene opens to a stand off with the level 15 characters.

We make out names like Thorian, Erold, Cinder, and World Reaper
The shadow guy casts power wod MASS KILL. There is no save!?

We wake up in the Barracks to the sound of Reville
Thorian walks in waking us up and calling for us 5 specifically to follow him.
We've just finished basic training

PC CHARACTERS: Efra - A Half Wood Elf Druid Beacon - A Warforged Paladin Dani - Goliath Fighter Aeloria - Half High Elf Rouge Elara - Half Wood Elf Ranger with a Squirrel named "Acorn" Thorian enters and then leads us to his office saying. *"Okay you five have been chosen for a special mission that I will be joining you on." Thorian is a Half-Elf.

Session Two

Dani is told she is intimidating by her size.
Elara is there for reasons she already knows.
Aeloria is there because Elara trusts her.
Because cause yeah (my exact note)
Efra for her ultity in nature.
Something is causing Nature to die.
Once we leave, we are equals.
We are given +1 items.
The party aside from Elara and Aeloria are sent away.
Elara and Aeloria are given their weapons.

We head out.
Efra has a pet gator named Buttercup that is a veggitarian?

Dani gets dizzy spells apparently.
Thorian hooks Efra's horse up to the cart.
We headed out at 9 AM, it's roughly noon now.
We pause for lunch.
Beacon takes first watch after we are told to be weary about the sky the closer into town we get.
While we eat, we go over the map.
Efra thinks Elara and Aeloria are sisters.
We head back out around 4 and the sky starts darkening.
The party notices the sky (except for Efra and Thorian) is almost ripping open.
Upon further inspection it almost seems like a meteor shower.
Efra wants to die apparently.
We can feel the hits in the ground in our feet.
Beacon, Elara, and Dani realize that a few have landed close.
They move to investigate one of them that is on the same path.
In the hole is a person with dragon features- ITS CONNOR MOTHERFUCKING DAWNTHORN
We wake him up
He is freaked out for obvious reasons.
Elara and Dani want to check out the others but Thorian says there isn't time.
Thorian sees a light in the tree line, Efra belines it to investiage it.
It's a tavern? Efra goes inside.
It's aparently alot like a pop-up event, it just goes where it's needed.

Efra walks into a room with a person who turns out to be a fairy- OPAL!
Aeloria snuck off and got shit-faced. We get her to bed.
Efra pushes Thorian into a room, tries to get Dani to "get some" but she is uncomfortable so Elara goes.
Dani takes care of Aeloria.

Session Three

A loud thump comes from the wall Aeloria and Dani share with Elara and Thorian. Accompanied with "moans". Beacon and Efra hear the moans too. Beacon tries to get back into stasis.
-The Next Morning-
Efra peeks in the next morning. Then Thorian heads to breakfast. Aeloria follows getting a tonic. Dani and Connor follow. Efra goes to breakfast. Elara stumbles out, hair wet, in a braid.
She gets a hangover cure, downs it, goes to sit next to Thorian. Beacon has been up, meditating.
They wake up more while eatting breakfast. Elara tails the party after they split with Connor and Thorian. Aeloria tries to talk to Elara psychically but Elara isn't responding.
They get to the crator. There *was* something in the crator. We follow the trail to a cave and go in.
Spooder. Big Spooder.
Investigate rooms, Elara finds a chest it is empty. We get through a door. A very powerful smell and inside is another empty chest.
In the furthest room - there is 4 people, it is the "Misfit's Clique"!

Session Four

We get to know the Misfits Clique. Dani gets the key to Aeloria who opens the chest. Elara gets a scroll. Dani gets an Ornate Mug. Elara's scroll is of Fireball. Dani's mug is one of Retention. Efra has a coin, an all or nothing coin. We leave the dungeon and have Acorn find Barry. Acorn leads them to a house. Inside, a scream. The owner had cast alarm. There is a trapdoor leading into a tunnel in the bedroom. Aeloria goes into the tunnel and runs into a person who helped Barry. We somehow miraculously all stealth the fuck out of here. We ride back to the tavern. Outside is a Kobold and a automaton ram, named Erold and Shunt. Aeloria makes a call privately. Dani gets chatting with a man at the bar. Elara sits with Thorian, Connor and PIPPY?!

Session Five

Elara and Aeloria go to the roof, Beacon goes to the bedroom and busts Efra getting Buttercup in through the window. Elara and Aeloria are stargazing and end up falling asleep.

-The Next Morning -

Beacon goes out for his morning vigil. Thorian goes to the main room followed by Efra and Buttercup. Elara and Aeloria go inside. We meet Rhys Draem. We head out after a long conversation. Efra practices yoga, Aeloria teaches Elara some Zemnian, in turn Elara tries to teach Aeloria some nature tips. Dani has Connor teach her Orcish. Beacon runs survellance, the sky gets darker. We make camp for the night. Elara starts to hear a deep growling. Elara calls out to it but then it stops growling and shifts. She calls out again but it quiets all together. Beacon realizes it doesn't mean harm to us and calls out to it, it comes out causously after Elara makes sure to note that we don't mean it harm. It's a Blink Dog Puppy, by itself.

-The Next Morning -

Puppy and Buttercup chaos. We get to the walls of the city and Aeloria goes to make a call to a friend.

Session Six

We cannot resist a child's scream. We notice black smoke from the center of town. As we get closer to the center of town shit happens. The ground shakes and we are met with things, and a little goblin girl. Initiative is rolled. Thorian is turned to dust. Out of initiative, Connor debates casting Martyr.

Session Seven

Connor is still debating on casting Martyr. After hearing Efra's words he has come to a conclusion on weather or not he is going to cast it. He decides to cast it as Elara bolts, as she looks for Lori. Dani tails her slowly. Connor saves his death throw and saves Thorian. Dani and Elara find Lori. They all reunite and blow the whistle to the haven and return to it. They get settled in. When Efra buries the bodies of the Wendigos, some shit happens but she stops it. They go their separate ways for the night. Elara and Lori train for a few hours before going to bed.
The Next Morning
Elara and Lori sleep in. Efra takes a shower. Beacon goes to the main room, as Thorian enters, he doesn't look quite right. Dani gives Rhys a letter to take to Phillipa and one for him in the sense of the worst. Efra flashes Erold her coochie. Aeloria gets up and goes to the bar and orders breakfast on a tray. She walks it back into the room.

One Shot Notes We promise its connected

The party is hearing music while they are partaking in the ale being offered. Tali, Mirako, Loralye, and Enaieth. The music is actually in thieves cant and Mirako and Loralye notice and then they ask Mirako through the second song, if he wants in on it. Enaieth and Tali notice them pickpotting. Mirako agrees and Loralye moves closer to listen into the conversation. Mirako trips on Enaieth and then he buys her a drink. Efrend explains to Tali what's going on. Mirako convinces Enaieth to join them in the bedroom. They agree to go take on the monster. Turns out everyone has a collection of things, except Enaieth and her crow Xulane. We make our way to a cave system and take on a cave fisher, then encounter a beholder, but a good beholder? Turns out the beholder just wants to live in peace but the man, Elarion, just wants the area and will kill just to get it. He gives us a limb as proof of "death". Turns out his name is Korm. We leave and head back to the tavern. They took Chloe and killed her. Mirako allows them to say goodbye. We talk to the others and Mirako is like "fuck strategy, I have to make this world safe for my daughter Lori".

Session Eight

Aeloria and Elara share breakfast in bed. Erold and Shunt return for a second, Shunt headbutts Beacon, which isn't normal. It causes Erold to question the similarities between Beacon and Shunt. He talks to Efra and requests to come with. She obliges. Beacon gets some beef jerky and gives it to Blink in his chest. Aeloria and Elara head out to the main room. Thorian is still feeling really weak, "weaker" even as he puts it. Aeloria gets Cinder to get Reydi who can potentially help. She tells the party, he is weaker for sure. (He is essentially back to level 1). Thorian suggests we go shopping for weapons and things, and Elara agrees. Thorian gives us all some gold and platinum. Dani calls Rhys "Rhysy" and he tenses. (Called it). Aeloria goes to get info on best shops and cities.

We pop out in Illshire.
Aeloria goes into a magic shop. She gets some scrolls of heroism and a ring of water walking.
Beacon, Elara, and Dani go to the armory. Dani gets a Vicious Glaive and mythril armor. Beacon gets buffering Elara gets new armor that still matches her vibe.

Turns out Beacon has a sunblade Assassin's Creed style.

Beacon walks into a pet store following his buff out. So- Beacon is a pet guy- confirmed.
Dani goes to the magic shop and gets a bottle of bottomless coffee and an amulet of fortune's favor.

Aeloria goes into the potion shop. She gets a bag of holding and 6 potions of healing, Elara walks in right before payment and reminds her of the mark on the sign. Elara gets 4 vials of a medium strength poison to dip her arrows in. Then takes the back to catch up with Aeloria.

Beacon and Dani catch back up. Aeloria looks to upgrade her katana. She asks for it to be easier for her to hit. Lori goes into the shop. She gets an amulet that almost guarantee (name tbd) hits and gauntlets of growling underdog. Once her katana is finished, they meet back up with Dani and Beacon. Beacon shows the party that he has the sunblade. Dani randomly takes damage, realizes that it was from her ring of shared suffering- Rhys is in trouble.

Session Nine

We get back to the tavern and it is empty aside from Efra and Erold, passed out. They then find Rhys' message on his location..
We head out to a cabin in a clearing (more like a hut), and a hermit acts weird.

We go down by the river after managing to avoid a fight with the woman then go into a cave and get into a fight with the ember wraiths from Radlands.

Session ten

We begin this session hot of the questionable victory against a pack of Emberwraiths. -Debate was had on which direction the party should continue down. Do they split up? Do they stay together? After consulting the all wise Acorn a spattering of blood was found. -Erold tries to hide his true feelings as he is hoisted into a "ride" on emberwraith Efra. The party decides down the path with the blood spatter, together as they walk the blood spatter increases to smears. Some suspiciously looking like a hand print. Aeloria discovers a patch/field of underground mushrooms and asks Efra for help on identification. Efra disables wildshape and puts Erold in a position we are all sure he fantasizes about. Efra casts speak with plants and the mushroom interrogation begins. ....... they were of little help.....but did give clues. Cryptic warnings found along the walls as Dani holds her breath and against the wishes of the rest of the party ventures out on her own through the mushroom field. -Dani and Elara argue on the route that needs taking. Elara cocks an arrow and threatens to burn the mushroom field. All those poor barely sentient little mushrooms. -Dani desperately agrees to go the other way and the mushrooms are spared. However it is noticeable that Dani's health is in jeopardy as bruises appear on her skin symbolizing the shared connection with Ryse and what state he must also be in. Beacon and Erold offer healing for her and in turn Ryse as well. In the end they go through the mushroom fields anyways. Dani, Elara, and Aeloria quietly and nimbly make it through the field. Efra dramatically twirls through the mushrooms....however Erold is an ungraceful ox and releases a spore cloud. Bro bought to cause a whole more mess if someone don't stop him from falling over asleep. Beacon to the rescue. After making sure Blink was tucked in and sealed tight in his metal exterior. Beacon picks sleepy Erold like an infant suckling at his mother's teat. In this rescue feat....Beacon the big clunking metal man sets off more spore clouds. Elara casts gust of wind to disperse the spore clouds away from the group. They now find themselves in front of a body of water in the cave system. No other way forward but through. -I can't swim Dani attempts to gauge the depth. It's deep ma'am, no cap. Beacon offers a hand to pull her out. -Efra wildshapes into a leopard seal and carries Dani plus Acorn. Elara swims with that athletic build of hers. Beacon with Aeloria's ring of waterwalking carries Aeloria and Erold. -Elara and Efra both feel something grabbing at them. Efra goes into turbo swim mode with Elara close behind. They get 10ft before they hear a high pitch wail. -Efra cannot continue moving forward. Beacon with his crew go to a rock. Then BAM...water alien. -Battle ensues -After a group effort, Beacon lands the killing blow with his sun blade piercing an scorching through the blue alien things chest. Efra, Dani, Acorn, and Elara make it to the next rock though Efra is now a pregnant leopard seal.... Party moves along, Efra and Dani end up in a 'boiling' spot. Dani is grabbed by the aquatic hear me out deathclaw. We end the session with I can't swim Dani going under. Hope she can hold her breath............

Session eleven

6 seconds on the clock. Can Dani hold her breath... Aeloria grabs the ring of waterwalking and dives in after Dani. Attempts to put the ring on Dani's finger and cast "mast suggestion" on the monster..fail. -Efra attempts to bite...also misses. However flaps seal farts into the monsters face. -This monster is temperature hot and Dani can feel it, in her struggles she manages to get loose from one claw and places the ring of waterwalking on her finger, shooting up to the surface with the Abyssal Stalker. -Acorn chitter chats to the monster and Beacon.......(tis is where I dozed of just a bit and my notes look like scribbles) -End of the fight is Efra chopping it's head off. -Erold professes reluctant love as they find a shallow spot in the water and continue on to dry land again. -Two options of paths....of which we learn later have the same destination. The great and wise Acorn is consulted once more. Evidence of struggle makes the decision clear. The party comes upon a strange mist cloud. Aeloria steps in and then out like the cupid shuffke. She collapse into a fit of manic giggles and then pushes Dani in. The mist provides healing and as far as Efra knows....kills on the third dip. All walk through. -They come upon some type of barrier. Aeloria walks through but Dani is blocked. Elara also walks through but Efra slams hard into the barrier. Elara pulls Dani through, same method deployed for the rest. -Once through it's realized that the barrier was a sound barrier as the noise of voices, and metal clanking booms. They walk towards the noises and find EVERYONE!

Session Twelve

Stealth is not this party's forte despite having some rather stealthy members -Elara suggests wildshaping to Efra who shifts into a cave rat. Dani uses druid craft to create a distraction of the "shit himself" kind "Rat Efra" makes it along the wall to Buttercup who she cannot free in rat form. She then goes to (Grey) Beast Man (who is about to club the very beaten up Rhys). She runs up his leg and takes a bite out of his gonads. In response she gets konked and knocked out of wild shape while in the Beast Mans clothing. Beacon takes Blink out and instructs him to go to the "prisoners" and try to find a way to free them Aeloria crouches against the cave wall contemplating strategy -Elara kicks down the barricades announcing their attack springing Dani into a dash towards Rhys. She pulls off her ring of shared something or another and goes to heal Rhys so he gets the full heal. Erold during all this has pulled out a suit of metal armor and dons it looking like a little cute transformer. -Aeloria launches a suprise attach at the closest Beast Man and it goes rather well. -There is battle...details have been lost to the secrets of sleep...however we do know that Efra had really bad attack roles and Dani was downed and throwing secret saving throws.

Session Thirteen

-Portal opened and Human Boss Man appears. His presence though he is not imposing seems to send the remaining 2 Beast Men into a panic Boss Man addresses the Beast Men like our Party isn't even there in a language not known to any in the group. However switches to common when addressing Rhys. -He wants to know the whereabouts of Rhy's clan's camp. Rhys revealing that he is the leader in title only and has not seen his clan in years couldn't answer the question if he wanted to. Boss Man doesn't seem to accept that answer. -Erold cast fire shield around himself as Elara knocks an arrow and hits one of the Beast Men, we don't talk about missing the other. -Buttercup moves to protect Dani's body and tail swipes the Beast Men when her turns come around -Boss Man during all this is berating his Beast Men and walks over to where both Beast Men are engaged, with Rhys, Efra, Downed Dani, Buttercup, and eventually everyone else as they all come over to either attack the Boss Man or a Beast Man. The Boss Man angrily takes 'whisper strands' from one of the Beast Men causing the beast man to turn to dust -Beacon comes in clutch with the sun blade as usual along with Acorn and Buttercup (who seem to be the most successful in their attacks this whole time) -Dani be making secret save throws this whole time Total BOMBDROP when Boss Man reveals that Aeloria is basically working for him and he has her father possibly hostage! -Infers of some shady secrets Aeloria could be hiding and then Aeloria in a turncoat of events starts to try and get Rhys to just give up the information to Boss Man. Dani's breathing slows......and slows....and it's almost nothing. -She see's and elven woman in her mind with a striking resemblance to herself. The woman is singing to her. She then tells her that she must go back for Rhys, it's understood that she is Rhys's dead wife. She begins to play the lute creating magic that not only restores Dani back to health but everyone else in the party and simutaniously weakening the Boss Man and remaining Beast Man, Elara relieves the remaining Beast Man of his 'aliveness' Boss Man portals out Dani BLOWS UP on Elara....like yells and goes off not letting anyone try and calm her down. Also reveals that Rhys is her beard......ouch...sorry Rhys They exit leading the prisoners out. Back at the Tavern, Rhys takes Dani to bed to rest and process suggesting that they all regroup in the morning, but asking Aeloria to sleep separately away from them all. They go to bed with the expectation to meet at sunrise (Rhys offered to be Dani’s beard when she discovered she was gay- he was in on it the whole time. She’s not a monster lmao)

Session Fourteen

-Tense emotional conversations ensure the moment everyone wakes up. -Dani gets a girlfriend. Nothing like coming back from the dead to push you out of the closet. -Elara refuses to leave her room. Beacon uses what social skills her has to try and convince her. No luck..she basically told him "your not my dad" -Beacon suddenly becomes Daddy Beacon and takes charge of what will now be dubbed the Feelings Chat -Beacon got real down to philosophical and deep.
